Serodus AS

Serodus is a biomedical company located in Oslo Research Park, Norway. Serodus was established by BMI in 2008 in order to commercialize innovations within the cardiovascular area. Serodus is working under a consortium agreement with the University of Oslo and Drug Discovery Laboratory AS for developing new drugs for the treatment of chronic heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases.

Serodus has identified a group of highly active and selective 5-HT4 receptor antagonists, one of which we intend to develop for the treatment of congestive heart failure and other diseases outside of the central nervous system. The effect of 5-HT4 receptor antagonists in heart failure patients was confirmed in a 6 months clinical study with piboserod.
